THE Government has suspended leave for chief executive officers and directors at public health institutions. In a letter addressed to chief executive officers yesterday, Secretary for Health and Child Care Dr Gerald Gwinji said the suspension of leave was necessary in efforts to bring sanity to the health sector.

Government yesterday warned it will not tolerate any attempts by the opposition to topple President Mnangagwa as he was democratically-elected on July 30 last year. In a statement, Secretary for Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Mr Nick Mangwana decried the perpetual electioneering mindset still gripping the opposition, describing it as retrogressive.
